Koreshan State Park

Today I made a trip to the Koreshan State Park in Estero, Fl (just south of Fort Myers.) Until last week I had never heard of either the city of Estero or this state park. What led me to it was the story behind actual turn of the century (early 1900's) community that still exists there. Pretty much a doctor named Cyrus Reed Teed shocked himself really badly one day, became "enlightened" and believed that we were living inside the earth (Hollow Earth Theory) and decided to move his utopian commune to southwestern Florida.
